Alberto del Moral

Alberto del Moral graduated in Physics by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2016, received a M.Sc. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology by the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in 2017, and holds a PhD in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering by the UAB since 2021. During his PhD thesis at IMB-CNM, he worked in the development of nanofabrication techniques for the integration of nanoscale based transistors. In this framework, he got familiar with cleanroom processing, including nanolithography methods (EBL) and characterization techniques (AFM, SEM). After defending his thesis, he became part of the IMB-CNM cleanroom staff, and he is currently involved in the development and set-up of submicron optical lithography equipment for quantum technologies.
