The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC), the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM, CSIC) and the Valladolid University are conducting a project for the development of semiconductor based Technology platforms for future quantum computing.
We look for an enthusiastic PhD candidate interested in exploring the limits of fabrication and characterization to joint the project and contribute to make quantum computing a reality. The PhD candidate must have finished a master degree in the areas of Physics, Nanoscience/ Nanotechnology or Electronics Engineering.
We offer a PhD contract for the full duration of the thesis. Starting date for the project will be agreed with the candidate. The PhD will be based on using state-of-the art facilities for nanofabrication and materials characterization, in an international environment collaborating with European top research centers.
